This my favorite song in the whole wide world because it says what happens to many of us each day. We feel alone because we cannot see or feel God in a certain time of need but we need to remember that he is always there no matter what we think or what we feel. In Viginia while I lived there, Fabi(Fabiola, a friend of Kaitlyn and me.)and I once listened to this song by Barlow Girl almost 4 times in a row. We cried and really got into the mood. It makes me feel sooooo lucky to know that I will always have someone watching over me and even better to know that He is sooooooo great and that He will always love me unconditionally. Here is a passage that i had found on one of the bookmarks that I own...


One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,

his life there was only one set of footprints.

lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he

I love this so much! I try to readit every time that i am in a hard situation wheter it is someone that is being mean to me or even when i am just nervous about something. God has most likely carried me more thatn 100 times in my life and i know that i am very lucky to have him:)

Genesis 5 is a rather boring chapter in the Bible. It is one of those
chapters that is often skipped because of all of the begats. However, there is something very interesting hiding just beneath the surface; and unless you know it’s there you’d never see it. So let’s take a close look at these otherwise overlooked names and their respective meanings. The following I give credit to Chuck Missler.

Adam

The first name, Adam, comes from adomah, and means "man." As the first man, that seems straightforward enough.

Seth

Adam's son was named Seth, which means "appointed." When he was born Eve said, "For God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."

Enosh

Seth's son was called Enosh, which means "mortal," "frail," or "miserable." It is from the root anash: to be incurable; used of a wound, grief, woe, sickness, or wickedness. (It was in the days of Enosh that men began to defile the name of the Living God. )

Kenan

Enosh's son was named Kenan, from which can mean "sorrow," dirge," or "elegy." (The precise denotation is somewhat elusive; some study aids unfortunately presume an Aramaic root synonymous with "Cainan.") Balaam, looking down from the heights of Moab, employed a pun upon the name of the Kenites when he prophesied their destruction.

Mahalalel

Kenan's son was Mahalalel, from mahalal, which means "blessed" or "praise"; and El, the name for God. Thus, Mahalalel means "the Blessed God." Often Hebrew names included El, the name of God, as Dani-el, "God is my Judge," Nathani-el, "Gift of God," etc.

Jared

Mahalalel's son was named Jared, from the verb yaradh, meaning "shall come down." Some authorities suggest that this might have been an allusion to the "Sons of God" who "came down" to corrupt the daughters of men, resulting in the Nephilim ("Fallen Ones") of Genesis 6.

Enoch

Jared's son was named Enoch, which means "teaching," or "commencement." He was the first of four generations of preachers. In fact, the earliest recorded prophecy was by Enoch, which amazingly enough deals with the Second Coming of Christ.

Methuselah

The Flood of Noah did not come as a surprise. It had been preached on for four generations. But something strange happened when Enoch was 65, from which time "he walked with God." Enoch was given a prophecy that as long as his son was alive, the judgment of the flood would be withheld; but as soon as he died, the flood would be sent forth. Enoch named his son to reflect this prophecy. The name Methuselah comes from two roots: muth, a root that means "death" ; and from shalach, which means "to bring," or "to send forth." Thus, the name Methuselah signifies, "his death shall bring."And, indeed, in the year that Methuselah died, the flood came. Methuselah was 187 when he had Lamech, and lived 782 years more. Lamech had Noah when he was 182.7 The Flood came in Noah's 600th year. 187 + 182 + 600 = 969, Methuselah's age when he died.It is interesting that Methuselah's life was, in effect, a symbol of God's mercy in forestalling the coming judgment of the flood. It is therefore fitting that his lifetime is the oldest in the Bible, symbolizing the extreme extensiveness of God's mercy.

Lamech

Methuselah's son was named Lamech, a root still evident today in our own English word, "lament" or "lamentation." Lamech suggests "despairing." (This name is also linked to the Lamech in Cain's line who inadvertently killed his son Tubal-Cain in a hunting incident. )

Noah

Lamech, of course, is the father of Noah, which is derived from nacham , "to bring relief" or "comfort," as Lamech himself explains.

Ello!!! It is COOOOOOOOOOOLD!!!!

I tis sooooooooo cold!!! I live in Illinois so it gets relly cold. Right now it is 29F. and i am shshshshshshshivvereringing!!!!! Today it snowed and we have about 2in. of snow right now!!! I woke up this morning, looked outside, and i actually yelled "WOW"!!!! Last night it did not snow when i was awake so it probably snowed while i was sleeping for 12 hours!!mwahgahahahahahaha!:) look a sour faced smiley :> I have to leave post later!! Thanksgiving

wahooooooooooooooooooo!!! Thanksgiving was awesome! Me and my family went to my grandparent's house where we ate a lot! Hot dogs from Sam's( SOOOOOOOOOOO good!), chicken that my mom made( she had to stick her hand in it to take out the organs.:(:< really gross), and some other stuff that my grandmother cooked. My aunt and uncle came over to their house too and i got to see my baby cousin( 6 months old and the cutest baby on Earth at this time!) named Gabriel and he is adorable!! Also i saw my other baby cousin named Alex.( cutest toddler on the Earth except for my 3 year-old brother named Joshua)Also( again) my mom, sister, and me played some softball(just catching and throwing the ball)My mom is exceedingly bad at softball!!!:)hahahahahaha!!!

WOW!!!! This is the best video i have ever seen!! It is so touching and every time i watch it it makes me cry or very close to crying!!! It really shows how amazing and powerful and completely WONDERFUL God is.wow!!!

I don't know what to do!!!! Okay that girl named Amy has no friends now and i am starting to feel bad for her but i still don't want to be friends with her!!! I once told her that i did not want to be friends with her anymore but then a month later she begged me to be her friend and i said yes! Well right now i am not friends with her and i don't want to go through that again. I just do not know what to do. I know that God would tell me to be nice to her. i am nice to her but i don't want to be friends with her!!!!! She asked me the other day if i would PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be friends with her. I didn't know what to say. It was a huge NOOOOOOOO but i didn't want to tell her that so i froze and then pretended to ignore her!!!! I really don't know what to do!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!:(

Ok Katie and me did great!!!!! We messed up a few times and we skipped few parts but no one noticed!!!!!! We must be GOOD!!!!!hahaha!!!!!
On the Happy Hippo there is this post about a family in need who's house was put on fire for no reason and they lost EVERYTHING they owned!!!!!!!! I want to help so i probably will send a few things for the family to Teapotsue!!!! I really want to help!!! Who and why would anyone do anything like that?it is horrible!!!!!!have to go now see you!!!!hahahaha!!!
